Your job includes
- Simulate and design photonic integrated circuits and devices
- Translate device operational specifications into mask layouts
- Contribute to software development for code-based mask layouts
- Closely collaborate with the R&D and product development team to bring new and improved products to the market
As an ideal candidate you have
- Master’s degree or higher in engineering, physics, or similar
- In-depth experience and expertise in at least two of the following:
- Electromagnetic field simulations, either photonic or RF
- Code-based mask layout with IPKISS, Phoenix, or similar
- In-depth know-how of PIC design and fabrication processes
- Software development with Python
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Structured way of working and high attention to detail
